Our history

The genesis of this activity comes from the massive need for CO2 to feed microalgae on an industrial scale.

We have built our activity at the crossroads of several issues relating to CO2 logistics. It is because we lacked the quantity of raw material that we started thinking about CO2, as an industrial resource.

CO2track benefits from the perspective of several areas of expertise in the field of IT, NICT and cloud-computing, backed by an implementation of the marking and traceability of physical flows. We have thus developed original systems in terms of marking and traceability of resources and goods, in fields as diverse as agro-food, biotechnologies, industrial deconstruction. These are essential for the establishment of a "circular economy".

This led us to investigate the ways of valuing CO2 in the field of agro-industries, water treatment, green chemistry, and ... the geo-sequestration of this "bulky" gas for some but necessary for others. Let us not forget that it is the first fertilizer in the world essential for life. The method we have developed was the subject of a first patent filing published in 2015 and more recent variations on gases of other nature (H2, CH4) and whose use or recovery requires a guarantee of 'origin (biogenic, non-fossil, ...).
